The idea of a shine that glimmers rather than sparkles is as
ideal as it is hard to achieve, although that hasn’t stopped Guerlain from
giving it the old college try.
ts new Météorites
Cruel Gardenia Illuminating Iridescent Powder packs the power of its classically loose
météorite pearls into a flower-embossed rosette that features hints of
lavender, dusty rose, silver, and gold. Applied all over the face with a large
brush as a veil of luminosity or in concentrated doses, like along the tops of
cheekbones or on the cupid’s bow of lips, it offers up the ideal amount of cool
colored light to perfectly highlight facial contours. That its illustrated
black lacquer case is a boon to any well-equipped vanity certainly doesn’t hurt
either.
