The last few years has definitely seen the world taking a
stand against what we allow into and onto our bodies. From an increase in
organic foods and vegetarianism, to the careful elimination taking place on our
bathroom shelves of cosmetics and beauty products containing harmful chemical
ingredients.

As the demand for such products continued, Wojciech
Inglot, founder of the Polish cosmetics brand Inglot saw a gap in the
market and created a new type of nail polish, a ‘breathable’ nail polish which
he called O2M. By breathable, these polishes allowed water/ liquids and
oxygen to pass through the polish and on to the nail plate – making it a less
harmful beauty item and allowing for healthier nails, and this is what Muslim
women across the globe had been dreaming/ waiting/ wishing for.

Since the nail polish allows water to seep through to the
nail, it means that Muslim women can wear them during obligatory prayer.
There is a nice selection of colours available to choose
from at the Inglot store in London and online, but we definitely want more! Of
course, to keep these polishes breathable, you must also use the O2M Base and
Top coat.
